A World of Learning

About Me

Hello! First, thank you for taking the time to look into my portfolio. It means you are looking for a tutor for your child or yourself. I will introduce myself briefly. I have a Master’s degree in teaching from USC, a TESOL certificate (teaching English to speakers of other languages) from UCLA, and a bachelor’s degree in child and adolescent development, from Cal State Fullerton. I have been teaching for a little over nine years. I began teaching at the preschool age and then expanded my teaching to Elementary age students and older. Most of my teaching has been with students from kindergarten up to 6th grade. I have also substituted and tutored for different age groups. Although most of my teaching experience comes from Elementary-age students, I have also volunteered in middle and high schools, allowing me to enhance my teaching skills with other teachers and school districts. It has also given me the opportunity to expand my tutoring services for students of different ages and learning levels. I also write children’s books that help their reading skills, and I hope to publish my first reading book soon.

My Mission

My mission is to help student’s reach their goals. By promoting a safe, secure and welcoming environment, I support students to grow and succeed in their academic areas. I strive to making my lessons developmentally appropriate for each learner so they can all have the opportunity to learn in their own way.

Your generous donation helps me fund my lessons that allow equitable learning for students. All donations can be sent to me using Zelle: 714-331-4781

Volunteer

Although, at the time, I only do small size classes and 1-on-1 lessons, I take pride in volunteering whenever I can.
